UK Festival Awards 2026 - Festival Application Terms & Conditions


By submitting an application to the UK Festival Awards 2026 ("the Awards"), applicants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The UK Festival Awards are owned and operated by Mondiale Technology Media Ltd, trading as Festival Insights and UK Festival Awards ("Festival Insights", "UK Festival Awards", "we", "us", "our").


1. Eligibility

1.1 Entry to the UK Festival Awards 2026 is open to eligible festivals, organisations, companies and individuals operating within the UK festival industry, subject to the criteria outlined within each award category and except where expressly stated otherwise within these Terms & Conditions.

1.2 Notwithstanding Clause 1.1, the International Festival of the Year category is open to festivals taking place outside of the United Kingdom. Applications may be submitted by festivals, organisations or authorised representatives operating internationally, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for that category. All other award categories remain restricted to the UK festival industry unless otherwise stated.

1.3 Applicants may submit entries into multiple categories, provided each application is relevant and all requested information is supplied.

1.4 Projects, initiatives, campaigns, performances or activities submitted must have taken place, been delivered, or have been substantially active during the eligibility period specified by the UK Festival Awards.

1.5 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet the eligibility requirements.


2. Applications & Submission Requirements

2.1 Submission of applications to the UK Festival Awards 2026 is free of charge and does not guarantee shortlisting, nomination, award recognition or attendance at the awards ceremony.

2.2 Applications must be completed and submitted via the official UK Festival Awards application platform by the stated submission deadline.

2.3 Applicants are responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate, complete and submitted before the closing date.

2.4 By submitting an application, applicants confirm that all information provided is true, accurate and not misleading and that they have the appropriate authority, permissions and rights to submit the application and any supporting materials.

2.5 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to request further information, clarification or supporting evidence at any stage of the process and may disqualify applications containing false, misleading or fraudulent information.

2.6 The UK Festival Awards accepts no responsibility for incomplete, delayed, corrupted, misdirected or unsuccessful submissions due to technical issues or circumstances beyond its control.


3. Supporting Documents & Intellectual Property

3.1 Applicants may provide supporting materials including, but not limited to, images, videos, reports, presentations, testimonials, attendance data, sustainability metrics, press coverage and any other documentation relevant to the application.

3.2 Applicants warrant that they own, or have obtained, all necessary permissions and rights to submit any supporting materials and that such materials do not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

3.3 Applicants retain ownership of all intellectual property rights relating to their applications and supporting materials.

3.4 Submission of an application grants the UK Festival Awards a limited, non-exclusive licence to use submitted information solely for the purposes of administering, judging and operating the awards programme.

3.5 No application content or intellectual property will be used for marketing, editorial or promotional purposes without the applicant's prior permission.


4. Confidentiality & Editorial Opportunities

4.1 Application content will be treated as confidential and will not be published, reproduced, distributed or otherwise used publicly without the applicant's prior consent.

4.2 Submitted information will be used solely for the administration, assessment and operation of the UK Festival Awards programme.

4.3 Festival Insights and the UK Festival Awards may identify noteworthy projects, initiatives or stories that may be of editorial interest and may contact applicants regarding potential interviews, case studies or feature opportunities.

4.4 Any editorial content, article, interview or publication will only proceed with the applicant's explicit permission. Submission of an application does not grant permission for content to be published.


5. Judging Process

5.1 Applications will be assessed by an independent panel of industry professionals selected by the UK Festival Awards.

5.2 Judges will be assigned to specific categories and will have full access to all application materials, supporting documents and supplementary information relating to those categories.

5.3 All judges are required to treat application information as confidential, declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest and use such information solely for assessment purposes.

5.4 The decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence regarding judging decisions, scores or outcomes will be entered into. Individual scores, feedback and judge comments will remain confidential unless otherwise stated.


6. Data Protection

6.1 Personal information supplied as part of an application will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

6.2 Applicant information may be shared with authorised members of the UK Festival Awards team, Festival Insights team and assigned judges solely for the purposes of administering and judging the awards and will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without consent.


7. Shortlisting, Withdrawal & Liability

7.1 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to publicly announce shortlisted entries, finalists and winners.

7.2 Shortlisted applicants may be asked to provide approved logos, imagery or additional information for promotional purposes.

7.3 Applicants may withdraw an application in writing prior to the commencement of judging. Once judging has commenced, withdrawal may not be possible at the discretion of the UK Festival Awards.

7.4 The UK Festival Awards and Festival Insights shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense arising from participation in the awards programme, including technical failures, loss of data, delayed submissions, judging outcomes or amendments to the programme.


8. General

8.1 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any updates will be published on the official UK Festival Awards website and will take immediate effect.

8.2 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising in connection with the UK Festival Awards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

UK Festival Awards 2026 - Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions

By purchasing tickets to attend the UK Festival Awards 2026 ("the Event"), purchasers and attendees agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The UK Festival Awards are owned and operated by Mondiale Technology Media Ltd, trading as Festival Insights and UK Festival Awards ("Festival Insights", "UK Festival Awards", "we", "us", "our").


1. Ticket Purchases


1.1 Tickets must be purchased via an official UK Festival Awards sales platform or directly through the UK Festival Awards team.

1.2 A ticket purchase is only confirmed once full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by the UK Festival Awards.

1.3 The purchaser is responsible for ensuring all attendee information provided is accurate and up to date.


2. Attendee Information

2.1 Attendees are responsible for informing the UK Festival Awards of any dietary, accessibility or special requirements by the specified deadline. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate requests, this cannot be guaranteed.

2.2 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to request or amend attendee information, including guest names, dietary requirements and accessibility requirements, prior to the Event.


3. Cancellations, Refunds & Ticket Transfers

3.1 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the UK Festival Awards team.

3.2 Ticket purchases cancelled 14 calendar days or fewer before the Event date are non-refundable.

3.3 Refund requests submitted more than 14 calendar days before the Event date will be considered at the sole discretion of the UK Festival Awards and may be subject to an administration fee.

3.4 Named attendees may be substituted free of charge up to a deadline specified by the UK Festival Awards, subject to notification in writing.

3.5 Failure to attend the Event does not entitle the purchaser or attendee to a refund, credit or transfer.


4. Event Changes & Attendance


4.1 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to amend the Event programme, timings, venue, speakers, entertainment, catering or any other aspect of the Event where necessary.

4.2 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including adverse weather, venue closures, government restrictions, public health concerns, industrial action or force majeure events.

4.3 Where an Event is postponed, tickets will automatically transfer to the new date wherever possible.

4.4 Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards all guests, staff, suppliers and venue personnel. The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, discriminatory or unlawful without refund.


5. Photography, Data Protection & Liability

5.1 Photography, videography and other recordings may take place throughout the Event. By attending, attendees acknowledge that they may appear in materials used by the UK Festival Awards and Festival Insights for marketing, editorial and promotional purposes. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed should notify the UK Festival Awards team in advance or speak to a member of staff at the Event.

5.2 Personal information supplied during the ticket purchasing process will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and will be used solely for administering attendance at the Event.

5.3 The UK Festival Awards and Festival Insights shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense arising from attendance at, or participation in, the Event, including travel costs, accommodation costs, personal property loss, delays, cancellations or amendments to the Event programme.


6. General

6.1 The UK Festival Awards reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any updates will be published on the official UK Festival Awards website and will take immediate effect.

6.2 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising in connection with the UK Festival Awards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
